Jewelry Shop Security
Summary
Joe Wilson from Sonitrol, a company specializing in security solutions takes us through the security setup that is provided to a jewelry store. The setup comprises of a protected vestibule which is intended to keep potential burglars from barging into the store. Cameras fitted in the vestibule are used to take pictures of every person who makes an attempt to enter the store. Every person who wishes to enter the store needs to push an intercom device button. The staff can then decide whether to allow the person inside the store or not. The vestibule is made up of bullet proof glass and the store is also fitted with various audio and video capturing devices. Any movement in the store is recorded via these devices and all the information is passed onto the local police control centre. The staff and the clients are protected since the local police personnel are informed discreetly.
