Summary
Testosterone is a hormone from the androgen group found in living beings. Testosterone is associated with violence, aggression, sex and power. Both male and female fetuses are exposed to testosterone in the womb but with the distinction that males produce greater amounts of testosterone. The physical and intellectual being of a person depends a lot on the amount of testosterone exposure that his/her fetus receives. Less quantities of it lead to better verbal skills while more of it leads to better visual skills. The level of exposure of testosterone can be determined by observing the relationship between the index and the ring finger of a person. The ratio of the length of the index finger to that of the ring finger is known as the 2D/4D ratio. An index finger longer than the ring finger indicates low levels of exposure to testosterone and one which is shorter than the ring finger indicates high levels of exposure to testosterone.
